The ZXD61 and ZXD72 mowers from Kioti Tractor, Wendell, N.C., a div. of Daedong-USA, are the company’s first diesel mowers. The ZXD series mowers feature a 1.2L Kioti diesel engine with direct drive transaxles, allowing the machines to operate without use of a drive belt. Both models are equipped with a heavy-duty frame, a shaft-driven reinforced seven-gauge fabricated steel deck and semi-pneumatic front casters. The machines offer speeds up to 11 mph, and 61-in. and 72-in. deck sizes.
