People on the move: MEC Aerial Work Platforms; Stellar Industries

MEC Aerial Work Platforms, Kerman, Calif.: Rick Penkert has been named national account manager. He will be responsible for overseeing key accounts across North America. Penkert has more than 40 years of experience in sales and account management.

Stellar Industries, Garner, Iowa: Rick Schoenfelder and Robert Pena have joined the company as regional sales managers. Schoenfelder will cover the north central region, bringing more than 35 years of sales experience to the company. He has a background in parts and service management as well as sales and dealer development within the trailer industry. He will spear the company’s expansion efforts across North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
Pena will cover the south central territory and brings 11 years of experience as an aftermarket sales representative at Rush Enterprises. His expertise is in developing new accounts, recovering lost accounts and managing established accounts.

Toyota Material Handling North America, Columbus, Ind.: Mark Taggart, former Toyota Industries Commercial Finance (TICF) president and CEO, has been named chief financial officer (CFO) for Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA). Taggart will continue his role as chairman of Toyota Industries Global Commercial Finance, overseeing TICF. As TMHNA CFO, he will shape the financial strategy of TMHNA’s major group companies — Toyota Material Handling and The Raymond Corp. – from his office in Coppell, Texas. Taggart plans to introduce efficient solutions to propel the company’s fiscal responsibility and success, aligning with Toyota’s culture of kaizen — or continuous improvement. Taggart joined the Toyota companies in 1996.
