People on the move: Deere & Co.; General Pipe Cleaners; Mazzotta Rentals; Takeuchi-US

Deere & Co., Moline, Ill.: Mary Pat Tubb has been named the new vice president of worldwide forestry. Tubb succeeds Timo Ylänen, who is retiring. Tubb will be responsible for the overall management and performance of Deere & Co.’s global forestry business. She has spent 25 years at John Deere, most recently serving as the general manager of John Deere Construction and Forestry at Davenport Works in Davenport, Iowa.

General Pipe Cleaners, A Div. Of General Wire Spring Co., McKees Rocks, Pa.: Angela Grieb has been named national sales manager. In her new role, Grieb will manage, train and support the company’s network of independent sales reps, interface with wholesalers and distributors, and provide customer support. She joined General Pipe Cleaners in 2005 as the executive assistant.

Mazzotta Rentals, Middletown, Conn.: Chris Pera has been named chief operating officer (COO). Pera recently oversaw the growth and transformation of ABLE Equipment Rentals (ABLE), positioning the organization for expansion by implementing systems and metrics that provided transparency into the company’s operational performance. ABLE was acquired by United Rentals in the first quarter of 2023. Before joining ABLE, Pera founded the HiReach Group, a start-up aerial lift rental company acquired by Sunbelt Rentals two years after formation.

Takeuchi-US, Atlanta: Jeffrey Jacobsmeyer has been named central Midwest region business manager. His duties include dealer development and recruitment, inventory control, forecasting, promotions, sales planning and goal setting in the region, which encompasses Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota.
