Salem Sports Events announces recapitalization of Extreme Millwork Salem Sports Events, Winston-Salem, N.C., a provider of temporary and permanent custom interiors, commercial signage, and mobile experiential marketing programs, has announced the recapitalization of Extreme Millwork, High Point, N.C.

For more than two decades, Extreme Millwork has offered custom millwork solutions for commercial, residential, and specialty construction projects spanning across the Triad, N.C., region and nationwide.

With their expertise in state-of-the-art millwork and carpentry, we’re poised to elevate Salem’s capacity to deliver innovative solutions across commercial projects, franchise upfits, tradeshows, custom interiors and mobile marketing initiatives,” said Jeff Ickes, CEO, Salem Sports Events.

“This recapitalization marks a pivotal moment for Extreme Millwork. Joining the Salem team opens up new horizons for us, enabling the expansion of our expertise into exciting new verticals. This enhances our capacity to provide dynamic, bespoke solutions that perfectly align with the ever-evolving demands of the commercial millwork sector,” said Sam Adams, who has owned Extreme Millwork since 2019.

Salem Sports Events currently runs two manufacturing, fabrication and printing facilities in Winston-Salem and Kernersville, N.C. The company plans to incorporate Extreme Millwork’s 18,000-sq.-ft. custom carpentry shop in High Point to bolster its production capacities.

Collaborating with architects, designers and general contractors, Salem Sports Events designs, fabricates, and installs commercial, hospitality, and retail interior and exterior environments for various-sized projects. Adams will step into the role of director of commercial construction, overseeing all commercial projects for the company.
