Grace Velazco, 53, Ventura, Calif., died Oct. 24, 2023. Velazco was employed by Phoenix-based PRO EM National Event Services and during her career as an event planner contributed to events including the Rose Bowl, the Oscars and PGA Championships.
Velazco is survived by her husband, Jose; sister, Danielle; mother, Mary; nieces, Nicole and Mikayla; In-laws, Silvia Velazco, Mayra Velazco and Rodrigo Velazco; and many other family members and friends.
