Equipment rental industry remains resilient

Equipment rental revenue, comprised of the construction/industrial and general tool segments, is expected to grow by 7.1 percent in 2024 to reach a record total of nearly $76.6 billion, topping the nearly $71.5 billion recorded in 2023, according to the latest forecast released in early November by the American Rental Association (ARA).

Work to make yourself obsolete

I have often written that as a leader, you should constantly try to get yourself fired. What I mean by that is that if you find people or add people in your organization to take things off of your plate that they can do better, you will be able to work “on your business” instead of “in your business.” This might involve hiring more people or adding cross-functional support.
