Attracting and retaining workers remains a top concern for equipment and event rental companies everywhere. That is why the American Rental Association (ARA) continues to upgrade its resources that aim to connect job seekers with rental career opportunities. The association’s latest initiative on the industry workforce development front is an upgrade and relaunch of ARARentalWorks.com.
“The site has been completely updated to provide an interactive and engaging experience for job seekers, students, parents, educators, guidance counselors, and targeted influencers who want to learn about the rewarding careers available in the equipment rental and event rental industry,” says James Auerbach, ARA vice president, event segment and rental industry workforce development. “The plan is to continue to add to the available resources and position ARARentalWorks.com as the go-to online destination to learn about careers in rental.”
Top features of the public-facing ARARentalWorks.com include:
- An overview of each rental segment while also featuring specific careers and jobs available.
- Links to ARA’s exclusive Job Portal that features more than 4,000 jobs available from ARA members in North America.
- Information about ARA’s new Student Membership program — a two-year membership and available at no cost to all active students high school age and up. ARA’s Student Membership provides students with a wide variety of valuable resources: professional education and certificate courses, scholarship opportunities, networking, access to the ARA Job Portal, and much more.
