Financial results: H&E Equipment Services; The Home Depot

H&E Equipment Services, Baton Rouge, La., reported revenue of $385.8 million during the 2023 fourth quarter, up 9.3 percent compared to $353.1 million in the 2022 fourth quarter. Total equipment rental revenues for the 2023 fourth quarter were $316.9 million, up 14.9 percent compared to $275.7 million in the 2022 fourth quarter. Revenue for the year 2023 was $1.5 billion, an increase of 18.1 percent compared to $1.2 billion in 2022. Total equipment rental revenues for 2023 were $1.2 billion, up 24.1 percent compared to $956 million in 2022.

The Home Depot, Atlanta, reported net sales of $34.8 billion for the 2023 fiscal fourth quarter, down 2.9 percent compared to $35.8 billion in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022. Net sales for fiscal 2023 were $152.7 billion, a decrease of 3 percent compared to $157.4 billion in fiscal 2022.
