Alta Equipment Group, Livonia, Mich., earned $521.5 million in total revenue during the 2023 fourth quarter, a 21.7 percent increase compared to $428.6 million the year before. Total revenue for the year 2024 was $1.9 billion compared to $1.6 billion, a 19.4 percent increase compared to the year before.

“Our outlook for 2024 is positive as industry indicators support our expectations for continued growth this year,” said Ryan Greenawalt, CEO, Alta Equipment Group. “Non-residential construction starts are forecast to increase compared to 2023. The material handling industry is forecasting another year of strong lift truck deliveries that is likely to resemble, if not exceed, the record year of lift truck deliveries in 2023. Additionally, state DOT [Department of Transportation] 2024 fiscal year budgets are more than 10 percent higher than last year. And, importantly, the sentiment from our customers is consistent with strength we experienced in 2023.”

Haulotte, L’Horme, France, earned €767 million (US$832.7 million) in sales during the 2023 financial year, compared to €610 million (US$662.3 million) in 2022, an increase of 28 percent between the two periods. The company said it was driven by strong growth in volumes sold, particularly in North America, and the positive impact of increases in sales prices.
