Financial results: Caterpillar; Cummins; Finning International; Terex Corp.

Caterpillar, Irving, Texas, earned $17.1 billion in sales and revenue for the fourth quarter of 2023, a 3 percent increase compared to $16.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022. Full-year sales and revenues in 2023 were $67.1 billion, up 13 percent compared to $59.4 billion in 2022.

Cummins, Columbus, Ind., earned $8.5 billion in fourth quarter revenues, compared to $7.8 billion in the 2022 fourth quarter. The company earned $34.1 billion in revenue during the 2023 full year compared to $28.1 billion in 2022.

Finning International, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, earned C$2.40 billion (US$1.78 billion) in net revenue during the 2023 fourth quarter, a 1 percent increase compared to C$2.37 billion (US$1.76 billion) during the 2022 fourth quarter. During the 2023 full year, net revenue was C$9.54 billion (US$7.09 billion), up 16 percent compared to C$8.22 billion (US$6.11 billion) in 2022.

Terex Corp., Norwalk, Conn., earned net sales of $1.2 billion during the 2023 fourth quarter, compared to $1.2 billion the year before. Net sales for the 2023 full year were $5.2 billion, compared to $4.4 billion in 2022.
