Rhino Tool Co., Kewanee, Ill., is establishing a new construction equipment attachments (CEA) division dedicated to the research and development of machine mounted attachments. The company said development of the CEA division is a response to growing sales of its Solar Pro and Guardrail Pro attachments.

Feedback from customers, needing to drive larger posts and piles, dictated the development of Rhino’s current Solar Pro and Guardrail Pro Omni Adjustable Skid-Steer Attachments, the company said. An additional CEA fabrication facility has been established in Kewanee for these larger units.

The Solar Pro and Guardrail Pro are designed to expedite the installation of solar-panel supports (piles) utilized in ground-mounted solar projects and highway guardrail posts. The products are available for purchase through authorized distributors.

“The Construction Equipment Attachment Division steps Rhino out of the handheld tool market, into machine mounted units for larger and tougher installations,” said Steve Orrick, sales manager, Rhino Tool Co. “Customers needed a professional grade post driver attachment system they could utilize on a skid steer or other equipment they already own, as opposed to purchasing a self-propelled piece of equipment dedicated to just one task. The increased speed, and maneuverability, from post to post, and to adjacent jobsites, plus the versatility of the attachments, keeps installers productive and efficient. Also, investment in a few base machines, and then acquiring attachments as needed, reduces the cost when remediation work is necessary on the jobsite.”
