Members from Region Eight offer valuable input to ARA national volunteer work groups

American Rental Association (ARA) member volunteers annually comprise committees, councils, work and shared interest groups (SIGs), which serve as advisers to ARA. These member leadership groups consist of general and associate members working alongside ARA and/or ARA Insurance staff to offer their expertise and assist the association in providing relevant programs, products and services to meet member needs and support their business success.

The goals and objectives of the ARA strategic plan drive the work of these volunteer groups, which are charged with progressing toward the achievement of those objectives. The following members from Region Eight have been selected to participate in 2023:

Young Professionals Committee: Kyle Tegner, CERP, with Special Occasions, Corvallis, Ore., and an ARA of Oregon board member.

Women in Rental Committee: Annie (AnnaMarie) Ricci with Bigfork Rentals, Bigfork, Mont.

Equipment Rental Advocacy Group: Tim Allen with Allen Rental, Roseburg, Ore.; and Sam Castillo with Tates Rents, Boise, Idaho, and an ARA of Idaho board member.

Event Rental Advocacy Group: Dave Markey with Pedersen’s Rentals, Seattle

Event Rental SIG: Robin Denny, CERP, with CORT Party Rental, Everett, Wash.

Exhibitor Advisory Council: Larry Ott with Rainier Industries, Tukwila, Wash., who serves as associate member director on the ARA Board of Directors.

Equipment Rental SIG: Heather Gray with RE Investment Co., Kalispell, Mont., and ARA of Montana president.
