Look what’s up for bid at the ARA Foundation Charity Auction

The annual ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the La Nouvelle Ballroom, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, during The ARA Show™ in New Orleans. All show attendees are encouraged to join in on this free event, which is sponsored by Ditch Witch, Mi-T-M Corp., Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America), Sany America and Trime US.

Participants can pick up a bid book at Registration on site at the show, at the Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America) Booth No. 2731, at the ARA Foundation Booth No. 2832 or at the auction.

A wide variety of items will be up for bid at the live auction — facilitated by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America). Allied Financial Solutions, a show exhibitor, is offering six-months-same-as-cash financing on any auction item purchase.

Here is a look at just a few of the many items that will be up for bid at the auction:

Floor grinder product and training package

EDCO, Frederick, Md., has donated a Magna-Trap — its highest ROI (return on investment) floor grinder. Along with the product, the company will include an organizational/training tooling stand and provide free in-person or online training. Estimated value: $10,000.

Trip to Walt Disney World

Experience the wonderful world of Disney in Orlando with this vacation package. The trip includes a three-night stay for up to four people at the Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter or Port Orleans Riverside Resort (based upon availability) and up to four daily passes for three days to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center and Hollywood Studios. Estimated value: $2,500.

Dual lane combo bouncer with blower and splash pool

Tentandtable.com, Buffalo, N.Y., has donated a rainbow dual lane combo bouncer with blower and splash pool. Measuring 25 ft. long by 12 ft. wide by 23.5 ft. high and weighing 174 lbs., the package comes with an attached slide that has two lanes, dual sprinkler heads, built-in basketball hoop and attached pool. Estimated value: $1,499.

Sidewalk edger

The Edger KS300 from Eliet USA, Pittsburgh, a manufacturer of groundscare and landscaping solutions, is a heavy-duty sidewalk edger powered by a Vanguard 160 engine with a 12-in. blade. Estimated value: $1,500.
