The ARA of Idaho recently welcomed Mason Gillins of Mountain West Rentals, Idaho Falls, Idaho, to its board of directors.
Gillins has served in his role as a manager with Mountain West Rentals for two of the seven years he has been involved in the equipment rental industry.
“I manage nine employees at the moment as well as make sure to keep a great work environment with a well-maintained and clean building,” Gillins says. “I also oversee our technicians and service calls, so if we have a problem with a machine out in the field, we can provide fast and great service to our customers. I also oversee many other responsibilities that come with the position.”
As a member of the board of directors, Gillins will collaborate with fellow equipment and event rental industry professionals to develop meetings and events that provide business education, training and networking value for the Idaho rental community.
Gillins, who is a member of the American Rental Association’s (ARA) Young Professional Network, says he is on a learning curve in familiarizing himself with association products and services and hopes to share his knowledge with other members.
“I am looking forward to learning new things, meeting new industry professionals and facilitating a learning experience for others,” he says.
