A glimpse at more ARA Foundation Charity Auction items

The annual ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the La Nouvelle Ballroom, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, during The ARA Show™ in New Orleans. All show attendees are encouraged to join in on this free event, which is sponsored by Ditch Witch, Mi-T-M Corp., Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America), SANY America and Trime US.

Participants can pick up a bid book at Registration on site at the show, at the Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America) Booth No. 2731, at the ARA Foundation Booth No. 2832 or at the auction.

A wide variety of items will be up for bid at the live auction — facilitated by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (America). Allied Financial Solutions, a show exhibitor, is offering six-months-same-as-cash financing on any auction item purchase.

Here is a look at just a few of the many items that will be up for bid at the auction:

Sports memorabilia

Donated by Rental Business Advisors

Rental Business Advisors, Cameron Park, Calif., has donated a variety of sports memorabilia items from current and former players, including a Kobe Bryant rookie card, Magic Johnson signed basketball, Vonn Bell signed jersey, and much more. Estimated value: $1,500.

Magnetic nail sweep

Donated by Van Mark Products

The NailHawg magnetic nail sweep, from Van Mark Products, Farmington Hills, Mich., is a magnetic roller used to pick up ferrous metals on job sites. The item is height adjustable and highly durable. Estimated value: $280.

Bourbon basket and tour

Donated by KATO/Compact Excavator Sales

Headquartered in the state that is considered the world’s bourbon capitol, KATO/Compact Excavator Sales, Elizabethtown, Ky., plans to donate a combined bourbon/bourbon tour package. Estimated value: $800.

Walk-behind concrete saw

Donated by Crown Construction Equipment

The Crown TCS from Crown Construction Equipment, Laredo, Texas, is a 14-in. blade walk-behind concrete saw powered by an 8HP Honda GX240 engine. Estimated value: $2,300.

In-home luxury private chef dinner

TireSocks, Englewood, Colo., has donated an experience that will enable you to host a luxury, 5-course, 4-hour private chef dinner at your home for six people, with a tailored menu and full service. Estimated value: $1,600.
