On Dec. 8, 2022, the ARA of Washington hosted an online meeting designed to provide clarification on provisions of the heavy equipment rental tax that went into effect on Jan. 1, 2022.
Facilitated by McBride Public Affairs, the webinar featured representatives of the Washington Department of Revenue (DOR), who discussed the tax and explained:
- What the heavy equipment rental tax is
- How the tax is paid
- What kind of equipment the tax applies to
- The process for completing the necessary forms to apply for exemption
