Impacted by natural disasters? The ARA Foundation can help

Hurricane Hilary may have been downgraded to a tropical cyclone by the time it made landfall in Southern California on Aug. 20, but it still brought record-breaking rainfall in its path, causing widespread flooding and damage as its remnants spread across the Southwestern United States.

Between this storm, a 2023 hurricane season that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) describes as “above normal,” the recent fires in Hawaii, ongoing wildfires in Canada and more, the risk of damage to structures connected with equipment and event rental businesses is elevated.

If your rental store or employees are severely impacted by natural disasters, know that the ARA Foundation’s Disaster Relief Grants are here to assist.

Two types of grants are available:

  • Business Disaster Relief Grantsoffer between $500 and $2,500. They are designed to help rental businesses rebuild.
  • Employee Disaster Relief Grants range from $500 to $2,000. They can help employees get back on their feet. Business owners must apply for these grants on behalf of their employees.
