EventsU brings event rental knowledge and new insights to The ARA Show

EventsU picEventsU will return to The ARA Show™ 2024 on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. This full-day experience of event rental-specific education and networking for those in all areas of event rental features 12 education sessions split between four time slots plus a keynote breakfast. Premier sponsors for EventsU are Aztec Tents; Choice Party Linens; Easy RFID Pro; and Seitz, The Fresher Co.

The keynote breakfast will kick-off the day with the high-energy “Energize, Engage and Build Rock Star Event Rental Teams” from “Marvelless” Mark Kamp. He is a best-selling author and world-class speaker with a deep understanding of business dynamics and improvement strategies. The keynote breakfast is sponsored by the premier sponsors as well as Point of Rental Software.

The 12 education sessions will include topics ranging from employees and profitability to safety and tenting. There also will be sessions around table-top design and linens. These sessions will provide key takeaways that attendees can put into practice right away. Sessions include:

Between the second and third time slots of the day, attendees will enjoy the EventsU Networking Lunch sponsored by B&R Innovations/Block And Roll. Recent graduates of the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) program will be recognized at the lunch.

Following the completion of education, the EventsU Reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. at Generations Hall, which is a short walk from the convention center where attendees will enjoy networking, food, drinks and entertainment. The EventsU Reception is sponsored by the premier sponsors plus TopTec Event Tents, Palmer Snyder Furniture and Central Tent.

Registration opens Oct. 17. Incentive pricing for EventsU is $469, and the EventsU Reception is $75 through Oct. 31. Registration for EventsU is in addition to The ARA Show registration. Attendees must be American Rental Association (ARA) members and registered for The ARA Show to attend.
