ARA of NY breakfast at The ARA Show 2023At The ARA Show™ in Orlando, before keynote speaker Daymond John delivered his keynote presentation and the opening of the show floor, attendees from New York had the opportunity to rise and shine at the ARA of New York’s Breakfast at The ARA Show.

The breakfast spread of seasonal fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins, eggs, potatoes, smoked bacon, sausage and more ensured that attendees got their day at the show off to a hearty start.

“We came to the show to get new information — things that we just didn’t know because there was nobody to learn from. We didn’t know about the ARA until this spring, and we joined and then found out this is where you come to learn that type of stuff,” said Joseph Pastore, Pastore Rental Equipment, Hudson Falls, N.Y., who attended the breakfast with Korinne Talham, also of Pastore Rental Equipment.

“We’re just kind of keeping our eyes open because it’s our first show and we didn’t really know what to expect coming down and what it’s all about. So, it’s kind of more of a learning experience this year than anything,” Pastore said.

Dov Goodman, Rent A Tool, Brooklyn, N.Y., who serves on the ARA of New York board of directors, was pleased with how the Breakfast at the Show went.

“We had about 75 attendees that registered, and we pushed it up to 80. I don’t know if they’re all here, but many are. This is the first year I have been on the board and have seen this event. I came here to connect. Connecting with people is the bedrock of a business. The ARA in general is a very, very unique organization that supports the actual business of rental, which I do not see in other industries. Every time that there is anything from the ARA, I try to be in it,” Goodman said.
