United Rentals acquires Australia’s Orange Hire

United Rentals has acquired Orange Hire, an Australia-based supplier of earthmoving and traffic management solutions. United Rentals, Stamford, Conn., has acquired Orange Hire, an Australia-based supplier of earthmoving and traffic management solutions.

Orange Hire was founded in 2005. The company said that by joining United Rentals, it will continue to enhance its offerings, ensuring customers benefit from a broader portfolio of products and services. Over time, this will include access to storage and shipping solutions from Royal Wolf, an Australian containerized solutions company and a subsidiary of United Rentals.

From June 15, 2024, Orange Hire will continue to operate under its new statutory name, United Rentals Australia Pty Ltd, while maintaining the trading name Orange Hire. The existing Orange Hire team will remain in place, the company said.
