As a member of the association’s Event Rental Advocacy Workgroup, I was able to weigh in on conversations concerning the state of event rentals and I was happy to be able to tell the committee — based on what I am seeing out there in my rental segment — that events are back.

Hello, American Rental Association (ARA) Region Five members. My name is Kirk Edwards, owner of Kit-Mo Rental & Supply Co. in Paducah, Ky. I also serve as ARA of Kentucky president. Business at my operation has been good. It is up from last year, which was our best in 10 years.

Back in 1955, 21 rental operators volunteered their time to help form what is now the American Rental Association (ARA). Since that pivotal effort, rental operators from around the country have continued to share their expertise and give of their time to advance the rental industry in the areas of education, consumer awareness, advocacy and community support. 

Each year, members serve on American Rental Association (ARA) committees, councils, and work and shared interest groups as a way to help the association provide relevant programs and resources that ARA members need to be successful. See which members from Region Seven are offering their expertise for this effort.
