As a member of the association’s Event Rental Advocacy Workgroup, I was able to weigh in on conversations concerning the state of event rentals and I was happy to be able to tell the committee — based on what I am seeing out there in my rental segment — that events are back.

Hello, American Rental Association (ARA) Region Five members. My name is Kirk Edwards, owner of Kit-Mo Rental & Supply Co. in Paducah, Ky. I also serve as ARA of Kentucky president. Business at my operation has been good. It is up from last year, which was our best in 10 years. 

The U.S. Department of Labor is urging small business owners and representatives from local government entities to join the department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other government agencies for a series of upcoming discussions on the potential impacts of a workplace heat standard on small businesses.

The Far West Equipment Dealers Association (FWEDA) has voted to merge with Associated Equipment Distributors (AED).
