Sunbelt Rentals, Fort Mill, S.C., has acquired the assets of R&R Rentals, a three-location equipment rental company located in the Seattle area.
“We weren’t for sale when this opportunity arose, but after careful consideration it was the best move for me, my family and for R&R,” said Troy Roper, owner, R&R Rentals. “We are very pleased to have sold to Sunbelt as it’s a good fit for our employees and customers alike.”
Troy and Kate Roper started in the rental industry by buying a small existing rental company, Bellevue Rentals, in 2002. R&R expanded into North Bend, Wash., in 2003 with the acquisition of Crystal Rentals. It opened its Renton, Wash., location in 2004.
“I’d like to thank Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors for his handling of the entire process and getting our deal done with Sunbelt,” Roper said.
