Do you know someone who has made a significant impact on the equipment and event rental industry? The American Rental Association (ARA) is asking all members to help recognize these achievements by making a Rental Hall of Fame and Industry Contributor Awards nomination. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 11. The awards include:
Rental Hall of Fame. ARA developed this prestigious award in 2000 to honor those individuals who have made a significant impact on the equipment and event rental industry at the national and/or international level with their vision and leadership. This is the highest industry honor and nominations should reflect exemplary service or contributions.
- Eligibility: Any individual (living or deceased) associated with the equipment and event rental industry whose significant contribution(s) positively impacted the industry is eligible for consideration.
- Criteria: Inductees into the Rental Hall of Fame should exemplify key guiding principles. Nominees will be scored based on leadership, industry impact, ingenuity and industry stability. Commentary and supporting documentation that demonstrates the depth and scope of the nominee’s specific contributions should be included.

Industry Contributor Awards. These awards are comprised of the Industry Ambassador Award, Exemplary Service Award and the Industry Impact Award.
- Purpose: Recognize individuals who have demonstrated long-term leadership and service to the association, made a significant contribution in a defined area of association service and/or made a significant impact on the association or industry at the national, state, or local levels.
- Eligibility: ARA General or Associate Members and Independent Manufacturer Representatives.
