Interested in increasing your knowledge of the rental industry, enhancing your leadership skills or taking your career to the next level? The ARA Foundation Mentoring Program may be just what you’re looking for.

Applications are being accepted now through Nov. 22 for both mentors and mentees to take part in the 2024 Mentoring Program, which kicks off in January and concludes in December.

The Mentoring Program is a personal development and empowerment tool designed to help people progress in their careers through guidance from someone who had similar experiences in the rental industry.

“The ARA Foundation Mentoring Program’s focus is to strengthen the rental industry,” says Judson McNeil, ARA Foundation director of programs and fundraising. “Each mentoring experience is individual, based on the goals and career aspirations of those involved. Whether you are an owner or manager the Mentoring Program provides opportunities for mutual learnings.”

This year’s program has been enhanced to present two distinct tracks: one for mentees working at an ownership level and another for those at the managerial level.

The Mentoring Program is open to anyone who is affiliated with the rental industry but only a limited number of spots are available.

As the Mentoring Program is part of the ARA Foundation umbrella of services, participants may receive up to $500 reimbursement for an in-person mentor/mentee meeting.

Visit ARArental.org/mentoring to learn more and to apply as a mentor or mentee participant in the 2024 program. Once your form is received, the ARA Foundation team will match you based on the challenges being faced as an owner or manager.
