Tom Siciliano, chief executive officer, Town & Country Events and Signature Party Rentals, Van Nuys, Calif., has a big, big job. At the helm of a rapidly growing event rental business, one of the largest in the nation, Siciliano knows that focusing on his staff and scaling at the right pace will lead to more success.
“I came to Town & Country in March 2022 and we have been moving ever since,” he says. “In February 2023, we acquired Signature Party Rentals so my focus now is to not outgrow ourselves. We aren’t going to rebrand either of these businesses, but rather share our resources so that we can make the customer experience and the employee experience better.”
With a focus on customer service and unique rental offerings, Town & Country services southern California from the University of California Los Angeles to Elton John’s charity events to SoFi Stadium events.
“We don’t say no,” Siciliano explains. “We have built an inventory so that we are either first, second or third in the major segments — furniture, tabletop and structures. What we can create internally is amazing.”
Siciliano believes that the future of event rental is bright with no slow-down in sight.
“I think people realize that life is short and they’re being very cognizant of that,” he says. “They want to share time with loved ones and enjoy it. They’re being pickier with what they want and need, which is fine, it’s what we do.”
