Sunbelt Rentals, Fort Mill, S.C., has acquired Casale Rent-All, a two-location rental operation based in the Albany, N.Y., area.
Tony Casale started Clifton Park True Value, a retail hardware store, in 1995. As the business began to focus on rental, the business rebranded to Casale True Value Rent-All and, later, to Casale Rent-All. As rentals grew to be the dominant part of the business, rental operations were relocated to a dedicated facility across the street and the retail hardware store was discontinued.
In 2005, Casale opened a second location in nearby Colonie, N.Y., which was relocated to a new, custom-built facility in 2019. In recent years, Tony’s sons, Nick and Anthony, have led sales and maintenance/deliveries, respectively, and daughter, Gianna, has handled administrative duties.
“We knew that to continue our growth we would have to expand geographically from the Albany market. Sunbelt made us a great offer and we felt the time was right for us to sell,” Tony said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Stansberry Firm represented Casale Rent-All in the transaction.
