Social in Orlando brings Minnesota and Missouri members together

During The ARA Show™ in Orlando, attendees from Minnesota and Missouri had the opportunity to join together at an off-site mixer.
The gathering took place on “Super” Sunday, Feb. 12, a short distance away from the convention center at Miller’s Ale House. Folks who made the trip to the Sunshine State caught up with one another while enjoying appetizers, drinks and the big game.
Those who took part in the festivities say they were glad they made the event part of their itinerary in Orlando.
“We had an enjoyable time and met a few people. The Missouri group was really cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs. It was an eventful evening!” says Lori Kohorst, owner, Party Time Rental, Brainerd, Minn.
Chris Ruddy, owner, Ruddy’s Rental, Forest Lake, Minn., is a regular at the ARA of Minnesota’s socials in The ARA Show’s host cities and says “I never miss this evening get-together with great conversation and great friends. It is some of the best time to network. Thank you to ARA Region Six and all involved. I’m looking forward to our get-together at The ARA Show in New Orleans.”
The ARA of Minnesota/ARA of Missouri event also had a special guest from halfway across the Pacific Ocean in Michelle Nelson, ECP-ST, president of MK Equipment Corp., Honolulu. “Rachel O’Brien [president, J&F Reddy Rents, St. Louis Park, Minn.] invited me. I had a nice time talking with her and her sister as fellow women business owners,” Nelson says.
