Event rental professionals will once again have the opportunity to kick-start their experience at The ARA Show™ with EventsU in 2024. This reimagined event debuted at the 2023 show and will return on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. A limited number of spots are available for EventsU, so register now to secure your place. Registration is $469 through Oct. 31, and attendees also must be registered for The ARA Show. A ticket to the EventsU Reception is $75 through Oct. 31. Prices increase starting Nov. 1. Register at ARAshow.org.
EventsU is a full-day experience of event rental-specific education and networking for those in all areas of event rental. The day’s education features 12 sessions split between four time slots. In addition to these 12 sessions, the day will begin with the Breakfast Keynote, which will feature the session “Energize, Engage, and Build Rock Star Event Rental Teams” with speaker Marvelless Mark. The Breakfast Keynote is sponsored by the premier sponsors as well as Point of Rental Software.
Education sessions will include topics ranging from employees and profitability to safety and tenting. There will also be sessions around table-top design and linens. These sessions will provide key takeaways that attendees can put into practice right away. Sessions will be led by event professionals and event rental industry leaders.
In addition to the Breakfast Keynote, there will be opportunities to connect with other attendees and network. During the EventsU Lunch, recent graduates of the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) program will be recognized. The EventsU Lunch is sponsored by B&R Innovations/Block And Roll.
The EventsU Reception caps off the day at Generations Hall. It will feature hosted bar, food stations and entertainment. The EventsU Reception is sponsored by the premier sponsors plus Central Tent, Palmer Snyder Furniture and TopTec Event Tents.
