Those in the equipment and event rental industry will have the opportunity to celebrate the industry together in person for the first time in 16 months at The ARA Show™ 2023 scheduled for Feb. 11-15 in Orlando.
The world’s largest equipment and event rental industry-specific convention and trade show will offer the opportunity to learn, make exclusive deals for equipment and services and network with peers at one of Florida’s favorite destination cities.
The schedule kicks off with two education programs on Saturday, Feb. 11 — Future of Equipment Rental with sessions targeted to those who rent construction equipment and EventsU (formerly Events & Tents) with speakers and topics of interest to those who work in the event segment.
In addition, the American Rental Association (ARA) will offer a full day of education on Sunday, Feb. 12, with sessions divided into four tracks, including:
- Learn and Lead
- Connect and Collaborate
- Empower and Engage
- Plan and Strategize
Sunday also includes the annual ARA Industry Awards Lunch scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., highlighted by the Rental Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Doron Broadfoot, The Rent-It Store, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and James “Jim” Ziegler, Rental City, Boulder, Colo.
On Monday, the day starts at 8 a.m. with the Keynote Session presented by Daymond John, CEO and founder of FUBU, a global lifestyle brand, and award-winning entrepreneur who appears on ABC-TV’s “Shark Tank.”
Immediately following the Keynote Session at 9:30 a.m., the three-day trade show at the Orange County Convention Center North/South Building begins, providing the chance for attendees to meet with more than 650 exhibitors and find hundreds of Show-Only Specials that could include pricing discounts, free shipping or other incentives. The trade show floor will close on Monday at 5 p.m. and be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
The ARA Show also offers a variety of networking events such as the Welcome Reception on Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the Show Floor Reception on Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Other notable chances to mingle with peers include the ARA Young Professional Network (YPN) Reception on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ole Red at Icon Park, the ARAPAC Reception at Topgolf on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., the Women in Rental Breakfast on Tuesday morning from 7:45 to 9 a.m., the ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception on Tuesday evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and ARA’s Tuesday Night Event at Universal Studios from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
