People on the move: Cummins; John Deere; SitePro Rentals

Cummins, Columbus, Ind.: Srikanth Padmanabhan has been named to the newly created role of executive vice president and president, operations. Padmanabhan has more than 30 years at Cummins, holding engine business leadership roles in the heavy-duty, midrange and light-duty markets. Brett Merritt will assume the role of vice president and president – engine business, succeeding Padmanabhan when he takes his new role. Merritt has spent more than 25 years in the automotive and commercial industry and more than 14 at Cummins. Bonnie Fetch, currently vice president of global supply chain, will assume the role of vice president and president – distribution business, succeeding Tony Satterthwaite, who has been serving as the distribution leader since September.

John Deere, Moline, Ill.: Deanna Kovar has been named president of worldwide agriculture and turf, small ag and turf and Regions 1 and 2, which include the company’s presence in Asia, Africa and Europe. She replaces Mark von Pentz, who is retiring. Kovar will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the company’s small ag and turf business, as well as John Deere’s performance in these markets. She previously served as vice president, production and precision ag since 2020. Kovar joined Deere in 2000.

SitePro Rentals, Dallas: Doug Miller has been named senior director of marketing. He will help lead the company’s brand positioning and strategic marketing efforts. Miller comes to the company with more than 20 years of experience in leading marketing, branding and communications teams across a variety of industries.
