During The ARA Show™ 2023 in Orlando, Jody Kerr, key account manager, Toro, Bloomington, Minn., received the 2022 American Rental Association (ARA) Industry Impact Award.
The Industry Impact Award recognizes a manufacturer supplier and/or independent manufacturer representative rental industry professional who made a significant impact on the association and/or industry during the past two years.
Kerr is a founding member and supporter of the Women in Rental Committee. She also reviewed materials and provided valuable input for the ARA Foundation Mentoring Program. Kerr has volunteered at multiple ARA Foundation/The Toro Company Foundation Community Impact Program projects. She is a valuable resource for associate member input and advice on challenges faced by this member segment. Kerr also is an active ARAPAC (ARA’s Political Action Committee) supporter.
“I was so surprised to receive the call from Dan Hooks [CERP, president, Party Reflections, Charlotte, N.C.] telling me of the award. It is so meaningful and touching to me that it’s an Industry award from a group I am so proud to be a part of. Truly a highlight and huge honor of my career,” Kerr says.
