Jon Taffer
The ARA Show™ heads to New Orleans from Feb. 18-21, 2024, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. In addition to his role in the show, Taffer is also an entertainer, entrepreneur, strategic advisor, thought leader, best-selling author and business consultant. He has consulted for well-known brands, including the NFL Network, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Buffalo Wild Wings and Anheuser-Busch.
“Bar Rescue” spotlights Taffer as he saves failing bars from looming closure. He leverages his four decades of unprecedented restaurant and hospitality industry experience and trademarked “Reaction Management” strategy to offer advisement on everything from menu design to cost management. His powerful presentations rescue businesses from themselves to propel them towards success.
After many years of restaurant industry experience and lessons learned, he created Taffer’s Tavern, an innovative, casual dining restaurant franchise concept that provides a solution for many of the woes that plague the restaurant industry. The Tavern is based on a high-volume, small footprint kitchen format that uses the latest technologies to produce elevated tavern foods and outstanding beverage offerings without the need for a traditional commercial kitchen. The franchise has current locations in Atlanta, Boston, and Washington, D.C.
He also runs Taffer Dynamics, his business operations firm which offers dynamic models for a range of well-known establishments and brands, including the NFL, InBev, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Intercontinental, Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Dave’s Barbecue and Wolfgang Puck Express. In addition, Taffer helped to create and chaired the Nightclub & Bar Show.
