HRG Capital, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has acquired Wahl Tents, Bos Structures and Events, and Tecumseh Tent Rental. Wahl Tents, founded in 1996 and based out of Clinton Township, Mich., provides structure tents and event rental services. The acquisition is designed to expand HRG Capital’s strategy to expand its specialty event rental portfolio. Wahl Tents has a wide range of tent rental options, including structure, clear-span and frame tents, along with a wide range of event accessories and equipment.
HRG Capital has also acquired Bos Structures and Tents in Waterford Township, Mich., and Tecumseh Tent Rental in Brooklyn, Mich. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
“We are looking to roll up local specialty event rental businesses in the metro Detroit market,” said David Lazarus Jr., managing partner, HRG Capital. “We see tremendous opportunity and demand for event rental businesses post COVID-19. Large corporate events, festivals, weddings and sporting events are coming back in full force, and we look to supply them with all their rental needs.”
Lazarus said HRG Capital will operate the companies under their respective names.
