Herc Rentals earns workplace distinctions

Herc Rentals, Bonita Springs, Fla., has recently earned the following workplace-related distinctions:

2023 Top 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation — The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® program recognizes companies that display a commitment to excellence in their human resources practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed across key indicators of workplace culture, including communications, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition and retention, among others.

2023 LearningElite Award for Learning and Development Excellence — The LearningElite Awards program is a benchmarking program that recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in learning and development strategies that drive business results. The LearningElite Awards program is presented each year by Chief Learning Officer, a publication of BetterWork Media Group.

Herc Rentals earned the silver LearningElite Award and was ranked 18 out of the 59 organizations that scored above qualifying benchmarks in five key performance areas: learning strategy, leadership commitment, learning execution, learning impact and business performance results.

“Being recognized as a LearningElite finalist signifies that Herc Rentals is not just keeping pace in the industry, but we are setting it,” said Mark Arell, Herc Rentals VP of talent and organizational development.

Herc Rentals said it has developed for its team members more than 5,000 learning assets, including virtual courses on its digital learning platform, Herc University, as well as instructor-led training for building up role-specific skills.
