The hand-held Power-Vee® drain cleaner from General Pipe Cleaners, a division of General Wire Spring, McKees Rocks, Pa., features an automatic feed. By squeezing a lever, the cable feeds at up to 16 ft./min. The product is designed to work in sinks, tubs and laundry drains from 1.25 in. to 3 in. in diameter and up to 50 ft. long. The product features quick-change cable cartridges for fast cable changing or cleaning, the company says. A Dyna-Thrust™ bearing system is designed to help extend tool life by reducing bearing wear.
