Financial results: Cummins; Finning International; Kubota Corp.; The Home Depot

Cummins, Columbus, Ind., earned $8.64 billion in revenue during the 2023 second quarter, up 31 percent compared to $6.59 billion the year before. Total revenue for the first six months of 2023 was $17.09 billion, up from $12.97 billion in the first six months of 2022.  

Finning International, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, earned C$2.8 billion (US$2.07 billion) in revenue during the 2023 second quarter, up 21 percent compared to C$2.3 billion (US$1.7 billion) during the 2022 second quarter. 

Kubota Corp., Osaka, Japan, earned ¥738.48 million (US$5.06 million) in revenue during the 2023 second quarter, compared to ¥666.55 million (US$4.58 million) during the 2022 second quarter. Revenue for the first half of 2023 was ¥1.52 billion (US$10.43 million), compared to ¥$1.26 billion (US$8.64 million) the year prior. 

The Home Depot®, Atlanta, has reported sales of $42.9 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2023, a 2.0 percent decrease compared to $43.8 billion in the fiscal 2022 second quarter. Sales for the first six months of 2023 were $80.2 billion, down 3.1 percent compared to $82.7 billion in 2022.
