Financial results: Cummins; Deutz; Generac Holdings; Lincoln Electric Holdings; Manitou Group

Cummins, Columbus, Ind., earned $8.5 billion in revenue during the 2023 first quarter, compared to $6.39 billion in the 2022 first quarter. 

Deutz, Cologne, Germany, reported €517.2 (US$569.6 million) in revenue during the 2023 first quarter, a 15.5 percent increase compared to €447.9 (US$493.4 million) during the 2022 first quarter. 

Generac Holdings, Waukesha, Wis., reported $888 million in net sales during the 2023 first quarter, a 22 percent decrease compared to $1.14 billion in the prior-year first quarter. 

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Cleveland, reported 2023 first quarter net sales of $1.04 billion, compared to $925.4 million the year before. 

Manitou Group, Ancenis, France, earned €665 million (US$732.98 million) in revenue during the 2023 first quarter, up 48 percent compared to €450 million (US$495.92 million) during the 2022 first quarter. 

Terex Corp., Norwalk, Conn., earned $1.2 billion in net sales during the 2023 first quarter compared to $1.0 billion during the 2022 first quarter.   

Toromont Industries, Toronto, earned $1.06 billion in 2023 first quarter revenue, up 23 percent compared to $860.1 million in the 2022 first quarter. 

Xylem, Rye Brook, N.Y., reported 2023 first quarter revenue of $1.45 billion, up 14 percent from $1.27 billion in the 2022 first quarter.
