Financial results: Caterpillar; Cummins; Finning International: Terex Corp.

Financial ResultsCaterpillar, Irving, Texas, earned $16.6 billion in sales and revenues for the fourth quarter of 2022, a 20 percent increase compared to $13.8 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021. Full-year sales and revenues in 2022 were $59.4 billion, up 17 percent compared to $51.0 billion in 2021. 

Cummins, Columbus, Ind., earned $7.8 billion in fourth quarter revenues, compared to $5.85 billion in the 2021 fourth quarter. The company earned $28.1 billion in revenue during the 2022 full year compared to $24 billion in 2021. 

Finning International, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, earned C$2.37 billion (US$1.77 billion) in net revenue during the 2022 fourth quarter, a 34 percent increase compared to C$1.77 billion (US$1.33 billion) during the 2021 fourth quarter. During the 2022 full year, net revenue was C$8.22 billion (US$6.16 billion), up 23 percent compared to C$6.70 billion (US$5.02 billion) in 2021. 

Terex Corp., Norwalk, Conn., earned net sales of $1.2 billion during the 2022 fourth quarter, compared to $1.0 billion the year before. Net sales for the 2022 full year were $4.42 billion, compared to $3.89 billion in 2021.
