EventsUThe ARA Show™ 2024 in New Orleans doesn’t officially begin until Sunday, Feb. 18, but event rental professionals have the unique opportunity to begin a day early with EventsU on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

This full day of education and networking for event rental professionals touches on a variety of event-specific topics with 12 education sessions split into four time slots. Attendees will hear from nationally known experts and industry veterans about rental workforce, social media advertising, event profitability, safety and more. These sessions will provide key takeaways that attendees can put into practice right away. Premier sponsors for EventsU are Aztec Tents; Choice Party Linens; Easy RFID Pro; and Seitz, The Fresher Co.

Prior to the day’s sessions is the EventsU Keynote Breakfast from 8-9 a.m., “Energize, Engage, and Build Rock Star Event Rental Teams,” presented by Marvelless Mark, which is sponsored by the premier sponsors as well as Point of Rental Software.

In addition to education, networking is a focus at EventsU. Attendees will enjoy the EventsU lunch to connect with their peers and recognize recent graduates of the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) program. The EventsU Lunch is sponsored by B&R Innovations/Block And Roll.

The day will finish with the EventsU Reception at Generations Hall, which is just a short walk from the convention center. The EventsU Reception will feature an evening of networking, food and drinks, and entertainment from Nemesis, a beatbox/violin duo. The EventsU Reception is sponsored by the premier sponsors, plus Central Tent, Goodshuffle Pro, Palmer Snyder Furniture and TopTec Event Tents.

EventsU is a separate program from The ARA Show and has an additional registration fee. EventsU attendees must be American Rental Association (ARA) members and registered for the show. Registration is $499 through Feb. 15 and $549 beginning Feb. 16. A separate ticket is needed for the EventsU Reception, which is $100. Visit ARAshow.org to learn more and to register.
