An ARA two-year Student Membership is complimentary for industry-related individuals or those looking to pursue a career in rental. A Student Membership helps students to become familiar with the equipment and event rental industry and qualifies them to apply for one of the five ARA Student Member Scholarships. See how the scholarships made a big difference for some of the recipients from last year who are pursuing rental-related careers:

“Rental has allowed my family to be financially independent while working together. This scholarship will allow me to continue my education and build on what I’ve already learned by working in the rental industry,” says Jonah Yingling, Capitol Rentals and Sales, Carlisle, Pa., who received an ARA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship worth $3,500 and an ARA Region Two Ron Marshall Scholarship worth $750 for a total of $4,250.

“I love the rental industry and the opportunity and example my employer has given me. The owner of the rental company I work for is a woman. Beyond the business and accounting knowledge she has given me, she has shown me that women can be strong business leaders. I want to use this opportunity that the ARA Foundation has given me to gain formal training so I can follow in her footsteps and be a successful business owner myself one day,” says Alexis Martindale, Arapahoe Rental, Littleton, Colo., who received an ARA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship worth $3,500.

Nearly $134,000 is on the line. Visit ARArental.org/ARA-foundation/scholarships to learn more about the scholarship program and how to apply before the March 7, 2023, deadline.
