ARA to release slate of 2024 board nominees in early August
The American Rental Association (ARA) is a member-driven organization. Accordingly, each year members are strongly encouraged to participate in the approval of the association’s leaders.
Ballots will be available electronically to the primary contact or designated representative of all ARA members Aug. 28 – Sep. 11, 2023.
If you would like to update the designated voting representative for your company, please contact ARA at 800-334-2177.

- Early August: Announcement of the nominees in Rental Pulse
- August/September 2023 issue of Rental Management: Special supplement containing the nominees’ biographies
ARA general members will approve the president-elect, directors for their specific regions and associate member director. Associate members will approve the associate member director. The member-approved directors will begin their terms in February 2024 at the conclusion of The ARA Show™ in New Orleans.

ARA is now accepting nominations for its annual Industry Awards. Review the award descriptions and criteria below. Then submit your nomination(s) at ARArental.org/Industry-Awards by Aug. 11. All recipients selected will be honored at the Industry Awards Lunch during The ARA Show™ 2024 in New Orleans.
Rental Hall of Fame Award
The Rental Hall of Fame is the industry’s most prestigious award. This award, open to all ARA general, associate and independent manufacturing representative (IMR) members (living or deceased), recognizes an individual who has made a significant and positive impact on the rental industry at the national and/or international levels. Nominees will be reviewed on their leadership skills, industry impact, ingenuity, industry stability capabilities and personal commitment to the industry.
Industry Contributor Awards
The Industry Contributor Awards recognize ARA general and associate members as well as IMRs who have demonstrated long-term leadership and service to the association, made a significant contribution in a defined area of association service and/or made a significant impact on the association or industry at the national, state or local levels.
