Hello, American Rental Association (ARA) Region Eight members.
The ARA Show™ 2023 in Orlando is in the books, and it was fantastic for both attendees and vendors. For those of you who were there, thank you for stopping me on the trade show floor and saying hi. For those of you in Region Eight who did not make it, you missed a great time and a great show.
One of my favorite parts of this year’s show was the outing at Universal Studios. It was such a wonderful family event — you can’t get that anyplace else except through ARA. I’m sorry if you came to the Welcome Reception (formerly the Regional Reception) and were confused on where to be and meet with other Region Eight members. It was a different kind of layout this year and like all new endeavors, it is a work in progress.
Now it’s on to New Orleans in 2024, baby! I’ve already made hotel reservations for The ARA Show next year and suggest you do the same. Click here to view the list of official show hotels and to book now.
I am excited for the spring to kick off for everyone. I see another record year for construction and party as well. For those of you with new hires, please go to RentalU, ARA’s site for online education and training, and take advantage of all the onboarding resources available to you.
I want to thank all of our ARA state chapter board members for the time and dedication they put in this past year. I look forward to visiting each one in person this year.
If at any time you have a question or concern, please email me and I will try to help. Until next time, may each of you have a safe and profitable spring.
Steve Ricci, ARA Region Eight director
