Hello, American Rental Association (ARA) Region Six members.
As I write this I have just returned from Orlando, and The ARA Show™ was a great event with lots of positivity in the air! If you attended, I hope you feel the same. If you didn’t attend, I can truly tell you that you missed out on some great opportunities.
Saturday, Feb. 11’s Future of Equipment Rental sessions made for an interesting day, and I heard great things about the concurrent EventsU for folks on the event rental side. Sunday’s education sessions — which offered something for rental staff of varying responsibilities — also were well-received.
The trade show floor was once again busy with people buying and ordering. Many of our suppliers are still behind in production, but I did meet a lot of new vendors who had inventory in stock and ready to ship.
I also had a great time at the joint ARA of Minnesota/ARA of Missouri social event held at Miller’s Ale House. About 130 members and vendors gathered to socialize and watch the big game.
Spring is coming soon and hopefully we all have a great year. I will be traveling around Region Six over the next couple of months and look forward to meeting many of you in person and seeing your operations. Until then, happy renting!
