Hello, American Rental Association (ARA) Region Three members.
As I write this I have just returned from Orlando and The ARA Show™. All I can say is “excited” is an understatement for how I felt leaving the event. What a great week it was. I went home ready to show our team all of the new ideas that were shared at the show for the future of rental.
If you didn’t attend, I can truly tell you that you missed out on some great opportunities. For instance, the show’s Future of Equipment Rental and EventsU sessions helped participants be in the know for what’s next in their respective rental segments. Sunday’s educational seminars — which offered something for rental staff of varying responsibilities — also were well-received.
The trade show floor was once again bustling with people buying and ordering. While many suppliers are still behind in production, several vendors on hand did have inventory in stock and ready to ship.
With The ARA Show behind us, we can now look ahead to what’s coming up.
Your ARA state chapters are planning a lot of stimulating educational and social events for the spring. For details on ARA Certified Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Train-the-Trainer programs to minor league baseball group outings and more, check out your Calendar of Events page regularly.
Spring is just about here and hopefully we all have a great season. I plan to travel around Region Three as much as possible and look forward to meeting many of you in person. Until then, happy renting!
